Maksimum Kubik ist ein Schaufenster-Ausstellungsprojekt von Sarah Reva Mohr, Catharina Szonn und Nazlı Moripek. Bis Oktober 2023 werden unterschiedliche, von uns eingeladene Künstler*innen die 1,25 Kubikmeter mit einer individuellen Auseinandersetzung bespielen. Das Schaufenster ist dabei nicht nur eine transparente Vermittlungsebene, sondern auch Fenster zur Stadt und Ort eines Transfers. Der Schaukasten, welcher sonst einer gewerblichen Nutzung unterliegt, wird durch die künstlerische Intervention somit zu einem unkonventionellen Kunstraum, der jederzeit barrierefrei der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich ist. Auch mit ungewöhnlichen Abmessungen, die sich durch die Architektur des Gebäudes ergeben, bieten wir einen Ort der anderen (künstlerischen) Auseinandersetzung und erweitern damit das Spektrum des Offspace-Begriffs.

Maksimum Kubik is a showcase exhibition project by Sarah Reva Mohr, Catharina Szonn and Nazlı Moripek. Until October 2023, different artists invited by us will explore the 1.25 cubic metres with their own individual work. The showcase is not only a transparent level of mediation, but also a window to the city and a place of transfer. The window display, which is otherwise subject to commercial use, is thus transformed by the artistic intervention into an unconventional art space that is accessible to the public at all times without barriers. Even with unusual dimensions resulting from the architecture of the building, we offer a place of different (artistic) engagement and expand the spectrum of the concept of offspace.
